Curriculum Design・Workshop Facilitation・Project ManagementAs a visiting instructor for Essex Art Center in 2024, I facilitated The Essex Street Alleyway Project, a summer intensive for Lawrence teens in grades 9-12. Prompted by the question “What does it mean to belong?”, I guided students through a collaboratively-engaged mural creation process to transform an underutilized space at the corner of Hampshire and Amesbury streets.
